Look i've played a few games and the fact that GW dosen't todate have an in-game [GM] Gamemaster system is rather apalling.Especially with all the glitches and problems many of the gamers have run into.Like being stuck because you fell through the map and the henchmen cannot rescue you.
I've sent requests to arenanet for assistance in the past and I get the automated response to post a msg.Well to tell the truth after having played City of Heroes and Villans I personaly miss the help when things go wrong. As they seem to do alot as of late.

Next, lets look at an in-game e-mail system like in those games above where people can send messages to the people when they are off-line or away. Many is the time where I need to get a message to someone about up-coming things and I miss them because they log in well after.

There are many great ideas that the company could incorporate into the game and it takes the people actually voicing it.If people will actually band together and let things be known many parts of our game time will be greatly enhanced. And therefore more rewarding for those who want a community in the game rather than the rude greedy world we see now.

I'm tired of the thefts and scams, rudeness, and ugly way people are treated because they are new to the game.Is there no way to regulate the constant barrage of insults I see slung at the new people.Come on I'm not harping here or trying to create more out of nothing the game is getting out of hand with people being cheated out of a good time

Lastly, I personally feel like I got robbed when I purchased Factions and only getting (2) extra character slots and then later seeing that more slots can now be purchased from the store. What a scam of fleecing the populace!!!
Why would anyone think that paying more and more for the slots wanted is reasonable.dON'T GET ME WRONG I LIKE THE IDEA OF BEING ABLE TO BUY MORE,BUT ARENANET STOLE (2) slots that should rightfully belong to each person who bought both games. That is the end of whats wrong in Servine's world today.Let me hear what you think.....

You could turn off local chat, or add the people to the ignore list if they are that bad. Out of sight out of mind. They didn't steal any slots from us, you could have all 4 if you didn't want the great aspect of a merged account.

-Yes it would be nice to have help when you need it.

- You could always get them to give you their e-mail and/or add them to your msn list.

-Well voicing opinions and 'banding' together is what this is. As for it making people not rude or greedy, I don't see how that's possible.

-For bad language for those that don't want to hear it.

-And if you don't want to read anything at all.

-Plus if you get scammed or are being harrassed by someone there is always the option of reporting them. But this doesn't mean that people new to the game are totally absolved of any responsibility to understanding the game. Before selling or trading with other players one should atleast be somewhat knowledgable of either the game economics or the fact that people are not always out to be your friend.

-You didn't just pay for two extra slots, you paid for the slots plus the right to play through factions and get all the rewards that come along with that. You also had the choice not to merge the two accounts together. That way if you wanted you could've had all 4 slots open to you, if you so desired. Not to mention the fact that they're running a business and by not charging monthly fees they're going to have to come up with other ways of making money.

look you have to make your ideas more specific or your thread is going to get lost in the forum in a few days...

And the 2 extra character slots has been discussed over and over, you can either have additional content through merging, or you can keep them separate, your choice, toughen up^^.

You know many of the comments made are things I personally already do...Yet there are people that are new to the game and I see them taken advantage of to many times.

I believe that simple things like having access to the gm's would greatly improve a few things, yet i know that in-order for gm's to be invovled they would end up asking for a pay/month game...And the suggestions each of you made are great for the people that do not know the game. What happens though when you are the one w/ a problem and there is no one to help?

As for the comments on the mergeed accounts, well uhhhmmm.....
If that was the case then why offer later purchase of extra slots? I want as many slots as I can get my hands on.I own (6) accounts that are played on and used to store the many items i find farming.I just feel that it was wrong to offer the option of only (2) extra slots if you merged accounts and then later offer to sell more slots...

I understand the drive for funds and all,but must view this as a strategic step used by the company to drain money while the getting is good. Many of the players who I've known over the last year or so have other accounts. This was all good because we wanted the extra storage space or other toon's to play.
So thank each of you for making comments and perhaps a little change can come about.

TY

i would have to disagree with the slots.
2 slots is enough for me... geez by gw4 i dont wana have 16 chars to pick from, whats the point...
although some people do want that much so they can go buy extra slots, and if that helps keep the game free to play, yay!

but i will agree with the abuse give to the new people that start the game but this is not the the abusers fault..

If that island was ment to be the learning process for newcomers to guild wars it was extremly disapointed, anet has rushed people through the learning process and thrown them into the deep end, of cource they gonna be asking loads of questions and of cource people are going to get annoyed at it.

lets have a better learning process in gw3!!!! dam it!!

I play CoV too when I take a GW break
anyway, it seems like in game email and stuff like that would only be possible if they start a monthly fee; and if you need to contact each other you should get a guild forum so you can post events and stuff; or if you play together a lot just exchange email addresses

Maybe Anet could make use of a free e-mail service, like hotmail, to supply the manpower behind an ingame e-mail service. Have it posted that XX company is supplying the e-mail service on the Guild Wars home site, and then there wouldn't be any blatant advertisement in game. If Anet tries to do this themselves, they might have to charge for it as it is a difficult undertaking.

Remove the annoying Factions popup boxes, and put touch skills into soul.

No more cheap 8 man luxon touch ranger squad for pvp and no more annoying boxes
